Lee Johnson is a performing songwriter, guitarist and vocalist with roots in Southern Rock, Country, Blues, and Bluegrass. His focus is Country as well as Rock/Pop and Film/TV. Most of these songs are pitch demo format, featuring session vocalists and musicians with Nashville Producer Kim Copeland.
Lee has been a full time guitar instructor since 1995, and toured nationally with Bluegrass/Rock jam band "Runaway Truck Ramp" 1998-2003. See Rolling Stone Sept 1999 issue "150 bands that make up the soul of Saturday night."
Lee has enjoyed opportunities to open up for or share stages with many great national acts, such as Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, John Cowan of New Grass Revival, Leftover Salmon, String Cheese Incident and many others.
Lee's education includes a BA in Environmental Sciences 1987-1991 and Music and Sound Technology 1993-1995.
